Multiple record - Chrome is very slow

I have a strange behaviour with Chrome within a scriptcase application.

On a multiple record, with an ajax event on a field, entering a value and going to the next record, on browser IE, FF, Safari it works stable and fast.
On a chrome browser it is very slow.
In attachment you'll find the chrome CPU profile - almost 60% idle and 34% on scAjaxGetFieldHidden.
Any idea ?

I need some more info about this. On which event are reacting, is it php event or javascript? In general there are several issues between browsers. I.e. in Safari modalforms can be displayed transparent etc. Also the version of a browser might influence behaviour. But there's not much info here to go on to, but it's not a known issue for us.

If you have some php behind the ajax call then there's something in the interprocess behaviour. Have you verified this behaviour on another chrome instance on another engine?

it is a on change ajax event.
It is php.

I tried it on IE, FF & Safari and it goes fast. On windows & mac chrome is goes slow.

Whatt do you mean with the interprocess behaviour ?

Should I log it as a bug ?

Mmm, I would post this issue on the SC forums as an attention point. I doubt if this is a SC bug. We are currently investigatatingd some other odd designer issue also on Chrome. Personally I think it's a Chrome bug. Especially as you are describing the same issue on Mac and Windows.

I have same problem, i have an application master detail, when a user has more 20 records in deteails, the app is very slow. my users have chrome.
I do not know if SC work when an user insert a new record SC retrieve some information of prevous records saved. i have events ajax for this form detail.
But i think thta this event ajax just works for new records.

Can you verify that it's only slow on Chrome and not in any other browsers? I don't have that experience, but I avoid master-detail constructions because I don't like SC's look-and-feel in this.
